Description / Scope of Work
Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), through its Material Management Directorate, is inviting bids for the procurement of Single Phase Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meters equipped with GPRS 2G/4G communication modules. This is a national-level goods procurement conducted under a single stage-two envelope bidding process. The procurement encompasses the supply of AMI meters to support IESCO's smart metering infrastructure rollout in Islamabad Capital Territory, enabling remote meter reading and improved utility management across the distribution network.
Bidders must meet specified eligibility criteria including valid business registration, manufacturing capability or authorized distribution rights, and relevant technical qualifications. Bid security is required as per the bidding document terms. Prospective suppliers must demonstrate production capacity to fulfill delivery schedules and possess manufacturer authorization certificates where applicable. Foreign bidders from eligible countries and Pakistani firms are welcome to participate in this competitive procurement process.
