Description / Scope of Work
Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites bids for the procurement of Single Phase AMI Meter with PLC Communication Module (Goods) on a national basis. This is a goods procurement exercise conducted under a Single Stage-Two Envelope bidding procedure. The tender is issued by the Material Management Directorate, Chief Engineer (MM) at IESCO Headquarters located in Sector G-7/4, Islamabad Capital Territory. The procurement scope encompasses the supply of advanced metering infrastructure meters integrated with Power Line Communication modules to support IESCO's modernization of its metering infrastructure. Bidders must meet specified eligibility criteria including relevant business registration, technical capacity to supply AMI meters, and compliance with IESCO's technical specifications as detailed in the bid data sheet and annexures.
Eligibility requirements include possession of valid business registration, demonstrated experience in manufacturing or supplying similar metering equipment, valid tax registration, and financial stability to execute the contract. Bidders must submit a Bid Securing Declaration as per the prescribed form. The technical specifications for the Single Phase AMI Meter with PLC Communication Module are clearly outlined in the IESCO AMI Specification document attached to this tender. Joint venture bidders must submit separate information forms for each member. All bidders must provide proof of manufacturing authorization if applicable and declare their beneficial owners as per integrity requirements.

Sealed bids must be submitted in two envelopes (Technical and Financial) as per instructions. The bid opening will proceed according to the schedule specified in the Bid Data Sheet. All bidders must comply with the General Conditions of Contract and Special Conditions of Contract, and upon award, successful bidders must furnish a Performance Guarantee as prescribed in the tender documents.
