Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad invites sealed bids under Single Stage Two Envelope procedure for supply of multiple items and services during the financial year 2026-27. The tender encompasses eleven categories including supply of linen store items, furniture, housekeeping supplies, horticulture items, computer store items, and provision of spare parts for a 30-bed mortuary facility. Additional categories cover medical consumables such as blood bags, anti sera, kits and disposable items for the blood bank, surgical disposable items and suture materials on annual contract basis, blood bag shakers, tube welders, and installation of a fully automated hemoglobin electrophoresis system on a reagent rental basis for three years at the Hematology Section of the Pathology Department. This major procurement notice is issued by the federal government health institution in Islamabad for centralised bulk purchasing of essential medical, operational and infrastructure supplies.
Interested bidders must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and listed on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue. Bidders are required to submit a tender fee of Rs. 2,000 (non-refundable) per tender to be obtained in person from the Accounts Branch at PIMS after vetting by the Purchase Department. Documents must include tender request on firm letterhead with copies of FBR Income Tax and Sales Tax registration certificates and proof of 100% Active Taxpayer List status, each page duly signed and stamped. A call deposit or bid money must be submitted in the name of the Executive Director PIMS.
Bid documents are available through E-PADS PPRA Website Version 2.0 where firms must upload their offers with requisite enclosures. The last date for issuance of tender schedules is 22 July 2026 at 1:00 PM. Bidders must submit original CDR, original Undertaking on Judicial Paper, and copy of tender receipt in the tender box at the Purchase Department PIMS G-8/3 by 11:00 AM on 23 July 2026. Bids will be opened at 11:30 AM the same day in the Purchase Committee Meeting at PIMS. Manual bids shall not be accepted.
