Description / Scope of Work
The Public Health Engineering Division Malakand at Batkhela, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites electronic bids from eligible firms and contractors through the KPPRA CE-09 single stage single envelope procedure for repair and maintenance works in existing water supply schemes across the Malakand region for the year 2026-27. The procurement encompasses both electrical and mechanical works and civil works across multiple sub-divisions including Batkhela, Thana Baizai, Dargai, and gravity-based water supply schemes from River Swat, with a combined estimated cost of approximately Rs 24.3 million. The work is divided into two categories: Category A covers electrical and mechanical repairs with an estimated cost of Rs 23 million, while Category B covers civil works with an estimated cost of Rs 10.5 million, distributed across four sub-divisions.
Bidders must be registered with the EPAD (e-PAK Acquisition and Disposal System) and Pakistan Engineering Council with active status in required categories. Contractors must hold valid KP Revenue Authority registration and possess relevant PEC codes including CE-03, CE-04, CE-05, ME-05, ME-07, and EE-11. For electrical and mechanical works only, bidders must submit an approval certificate from the Superintending Engineer PHE Circle Swat, renewal electrical inspector license certificate, departmental enlistment, and a list of available machinery and staff. Bid security and additional security must be submitted as per KPPRA notification specifications.
Bid documents including Bill of Quantity and Standard Bidding Documents can be downloaded from the ePADS portal at kp.eprocu.gov.pk prior to submission. Financial bids must be uploaded through ePADS before the deadline. The submission deadline is 23 July 2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 12:00 PM in the presence of government contractors or their authorized representatives. Bid security must be submitted physically in original form by registered post or courier to the undersigned office before the last date and time of submission.
