Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) invites sealed bids from experienced vendors to establish unit-based frame rates for operation and maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems installed across SCN Karachi in the South Zone. The scope of work encompasses maintenance services for two 80KVA units under the DIIP Project and ten 10KVA units serving submarine equipment infrastructure. The frame agreement will be executed for a period of three years from the date of contract signing, with PTCL retaining discretion to issue purchase orders on an as-needed demand basis without any guarantee of minimum order volumes or purchase obligations.
Prospective bidders must be registered vendors with PTCL and hold a valid Vendor Registration Code (VR Code), which is mandatory for bid submission. Unregistered vendors are required to obtain registration prior to participation. All bids must include a bid security of two percent of the quoted Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) in the form of a CDR or DD payable to Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited. Bidders should note that all quoted rates must be inclusive of applicable taxes except GST. PTCL reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to cancel the bidding process entirely at any time without providing justification or incurring liability.

Vendors may submit clarification queries by 17 July 2026, followed by a pre-bid meeting scheduled for 18 July 2026 on MS Teams or at the Zonal Office. Separate Technical and Commercial bid submissions are required, both with accompanying bid bonds, to be delivered on or before 22 July 2026.
