Description / Scope of Work
The Civil Works Department of Karachi Port Trust (KPT) invites sealed bids from eligible contractors for the demolition of sheds located at J-Bond at the KPT Head Office in Karachi, Sindh. This civil works procurement, referenced as P54974, is funded under the FY 2026-27 budget allocation. The project scope encompasses the complete demolition of structures at the specified location within Karachi. Bidders must be registered on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 to participate in this procurement process. The procurement follows the Single Stage-One Envelope methodology using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) Technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
All eligible bidders are required to submit their bids accompanied by bid security in the form of a Pay Order or a bid securing declaration as specified in the bidding documents. Bidders must possess the necessary qualifications and licenses for civil demolition works. Interested contractors should ensure their registration on EPADS v2.0 prior to bid submission.
Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS v2.0 on or before Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 10:30 AM. E-bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM using the EPADS v2.0 system.
