Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Executive Engineer, Provincial Buildings Division No. II, Government of Sindh, Karachi invites e-bids through the newly implemented ePADS portal under single-stage, one-envelope procedure for four separate maintenance and repair contracts for the Sindh Secretariat Building I and Building II in Karachi. The works include day-to-day complaints for both civil and electrical systems across the two buildings, each valued at Rs 3.00 million with an estimated completion period of three months. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Sindh Government e-procurement platform in accordance with SPPRA procurement rules and the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority guidelines.
Eligible bidders must possess at least two completed work orders or projects of similar nature and value with a minimum cost of 80 percent above or 50 percent above the estimated project cost. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category, maintain active status on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue and Sindh Revenue Board, and submit an earnest money deposit of 5 percent of the bid value as a call deposit from a scheduled bank. Affidavits confirming no litigation history, non-involvement in procurement-related cases, and company good standing are mandatory. Firms previously blacklisted or delisted are ineligible for competition.
Intending participants may obtain bidding documents from the undersigned office from the date of N.I.T. publication through 03-09-2026 at 01:00 PM, with payment via pay order or deposit receipt for each work package. Bids will be received until 04-09-2026 at 11:00 AM and opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of the Procurement Committee and authorized bidder representatives.
