Description / Scope of Work
The DW&CE (DCI) Islamabad invites applications for pre-qualification and bidding from firms and contractors for miscellaneous works at DCI Islamabad under tender reference 14/600/PPRA/E-6. The procurement encompasses two major categories: construction, provision and installation of certain residential and non-residential services and facilities at DCI Islamabad, and consultancy services including design and resident engineer supervision for certain works at the same location. Firms already enlisted with MES are eligible to apply directly, while firms not enlisted with MES must attach 2% earnest money of the contract cost in the form of Certificates of Deposit (CDR) or Defence Saving Certificates duly pledged in favour of DW&CE (DCI) Islamabad. Bidding documents will be issued to qualified contractors only following the pre-qualification evaluation.
Applications for pre-qualification and bidding will be received from 08 July 2026 onwards until 22 July 2026. Eligible firms must provide detailed information about works executed during the last three years, including the executing agency or organization, contract amount, time allowed, actual completion time, and percentage progress of works currently in hand. Department performance reports must also be submitted. The earnest money requirement ensures financial commitment and protects the procuring agency's interests throughout the bidding process.
Sealed bids will be received at the office of DW&CE (DCI) Islamabad until 1230 hours on 23 July 2026 and will be opened on the same date at 1300 hours in the presence of authorized representatives of bidding firms.
