Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) invites e-bids from qualified firms and bidders for the disposal of unserviceable and scrap meter materials through the E-PADS (Version 2.0) platform. The tender covers the sale of approximately 90,000 kilograms of meter scrap comprising both partially and non-partially broken units. The materials are currently stored at the Regional Store in Shalamar, Lahore, Punjab, and are being offered for disposal on an as-is-where-is basis. Interested bidders are permitted to visit and inspect the scrap materials during working hours and office hours prior to submission of their bids.
To participate in this tender, bidders must meet the eligibility and qualification criteria as outlined in the bidding documents and must submit a bid security of PKR 1,000,000 in an acceptable form. The bid security must be submitted in original form to the office of the Chief Engineer (Materials Management) at LESCO headquarters before the scheduled bid submission deadline. All bids shall be considered exclusive of taxes, with all applicable government taxes to be charged separately at the time of final payment. Bidders must provide undertakings related to black listing status, environmental protection, and compliance with all terms and conditions of the work order.
Bidding documents containing complete terms, conditions, and technical specifications are available for download from the PPRA website and the E-PADS portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk. The procurement process follows the Single Stage One Envelope Procedure as per Public Procurement Rules 2004 (PPRA-2004) and the 36/A procedure as amended to date.
