Description / Scope of Work
Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) invites electronic bids from eligible firms and bidders for the disposal of unserviceable and scrap meter materials through the E-PADS (Version 2.0) platform. The tender pertains to the sale of approximately 90,000 kilograms of meter scrap comprising both P.C and Non-P.C broken and unserviceable items currently stored at the Regional Store in Shalamar, Lahore, Punjab. The scrap materials are being disposed on an as-is-where-is basis, and interested bidders are welcome to inspect the items at the designated location during regular working hours and office hours before submitting their bids.
Participants must meet specified eligibility and qualification criteria as outlined in the bidding documents and must submit a mandatory bid security of PKR 1,000,000 in an acceptable form. The bid security must be submitted to the office of the Chief Engineer (Materials Management) at LESCO headquarters before the scheduled bid submission deadline. All bids are to be considered exclusive of applicable taxes, with all government-mandated taxes to be charged separately at the time of final payment. Bidders should ensure they comply with all undertakings related to blacklisting, Environmental Protection Act requirements, and other terms and conditions stipulated in the tender documents.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, eligibility requirements, and general and special conditions of the work order can be downloaded from the PPRA website as well as the E-PADS portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk. The tender follows the 36/A procedure of PPRA Rules-2004 (amended to date) and operates under the Single Stage One Envelope Procedure of Public Procurement Rules-2004. Electronic bids must be submitted through the E-PADS platform on or before 23 July 2026 at 11:00 AM.
