Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites bids from pre-qualified bidders for the solarization project titled 'Solarization of 2000 Masajid in Merged Area Additional 1050 Masajid' under ADP No. 340/210580 (2025-26). The project encompasses three packages totaling 1050 mosques across Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Kurram, Orakzai, North Waziristan, South Waziristan, and Ex-Frontier Regions. The total estimated project cost is PKR 1043.69 million. Package 1 covers Bajaur and Mohmand with 348 masajid and estimated cost of PKR 345.91 million. Package 2 covers Kurram and Orakzai with 354 masajid and estimated cost of PKR 351.87 million. Package 3 covers North Waziristan, South Waziristan, and Ex-Frontier Regions with 348 masajid and estimated cost of PKR 345.91 million. The scope includes initial site survey, procurement, supply, transportation, installation of complete solar systems with civil works, commissioning, testing, and handing over.
Bidding is restricted to firms pre-qualified via Notification No. PD (Solar-PIU) Solarization of Projects/2023-24/PD/7086-91 dated 05-03-2024. Pre-qualified bidders include M/s Solar Tech Pvt Ltd, M/s MAK Pumps Pvt Ltd, M/s Renewable Power Pvt Ltd, M/s TSK Engineering International Pvt Ltd, M/s PAK Reliable Engineering Co. (SMC-PVT) LTD, and M/s Akhunzda Associates Pvt Ltd. Bidders must hold a Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license in category C-3 or above with mandatory specialization codes. All bidders must be registered with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) with active status. Separate sealed bids are required for each package; combined bids will be rejected. Bid security of 2 percent of estimated cost is mandatory, supported by bank draft or guarantee from a scheduled bank valid for twenty-eight days beyond bid validity.
Bid documents are available from PEDO House, Sector 38/B-2, Phase-V, Hayatabad, Peshawar, or via e-PADS upon submission of PKR 5,000 per package as non-refundable fee via bank draft. A pre-bid meeting will be held on July 16, 2026 at 11:00 Hrs at Main Committee Room, PEDO House. Bids must be submitted through E-PAK Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) by July 28, 2026 at 14:00 Hrs, with sealed hard copies delivered to the same address. Financial proposals will be opened the same day at 14:30 Hrs at Main Committee Room.
