Description / Scope of Work
Public Health Engineering (PHE) Division, Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed competitive bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) for annual maintenance and repair (AM&R) works on completed water supply schemes during 2026-27. The procurement comprises four separate contract packages with a combined estimated value of 42 million Pakistani rupees: two pumping machinery and transformer voltage regulation contracts (12 million each) for PHE Sub Division Mardan and Takht Bhai, and two civil works contracts (10 million and 8 million) for the same sub-divisions. The works cover regular maintenance, repair, and operational support of water supply infrastructure across the district.
Bidders must be registered with e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KP-PPRA), Pakistan Engineering Council in the required category with specified codes, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) with active status, and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) with active NTN status. A bid security of 2% of the estimated cost for each package must be submitted as an original call deposit. The bidder must provide an affidavit confirming that no water supply scheme will remain non-operational for more than 24 hours, requiring adequate standby pumping machinery and accessories.
Bid solicitation documents and bills of quantity are available for download from EPADS (kp.eprocure.gov.pk) and KP-PPRA website (kppra.gov.pk). Technical and financial bids must be uploaded through EPADS before 12:00 noon on 30 July 2026. Technical bids will be opened at 12:30 PM on the same date in the presence of bidders or their representatives. The financial bid opening date will be announced after technical evaluation. Applications for workshop visits must be submitted three days before the tender closing date to the Executive Engineer's office at Near Press Club, Mardan Shamsi Road, District Mardan, KP.
