Description / Scope of Work
Islamia College Peshawar, a public sector university in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed bids from well-established and FBR-registered firms for the procurement of Physics Lab Equipment, specifically a High-Temperature Sliding Tube Furnace with thermocouples. The furnace must meet the following specifications: maximum temperature capacity of 1200 degrees Celsius, internal tube diameter of 25 millimeters, heated length between 50 to 56 centimeters, maximum power consumption of 1.2 kilowatts, and operating voltage of 230 volts. The furnace is to be supplied with a rail track system for laboratory use in Peshawar. This procurement follows the Single Stage Single Envelope open competitive bidding process under KP-PPRA Rules 2014, with all applicable taxes to be included in quoted prices.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and meet all eligibility criteria set forth in the KP-PPRA guidelines. Interested participants are required to submit an earnest money deposit equivalent to 2 percent of the total bid amount in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) payable to the Treasurer of Islamia College Peshawar. Additionally, a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 2,000 must be submitted to Bank of Khyber at the University of Peshawar branch (Account No. 3007537138, IBAN: PK21KHYB5317003007537138) prior to bid submission. All original Call Deposit Receipts must be physically submitted or sent via courier services by the bid submission deadline.
Bid Solicitation Documents (BSD) can be downloaded from the EPADS portal at http://kp.eprocure.gov.pk following publication of this advertisement. Bids must be submitted online through EPADS on or before 2:00 PM on July 23, 2026, with opening scheduled for 2:30 PM on the same date in the Video Conference Hall of the Academic Block at Islamia College Peshawar.
