Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) invites pre-qualification applications from international marine chemicals manufacturers for supply of IMO and SOLAS regulations compliant ex-bond marine chemicals to PNSC managed vessels and tankers at international ports. This procurement is undertaken through a closed framework agreement mechanism, with the prequalification process open to all eligible international applicants. The successful supplier will be selected through a subsequent bidding process and will enter into a one-year framework agreement with PNSC, with the invitation to bid expected in August 2026 and framework agreement execution also in August 2026. PNSC has allocated sufficient funds from its own resources for this contract.
Eligibility is open to all international applicants subject to fulfilling the qualification criteria and requirements detailed in the prequalification documents. Applicants must meet specific experience requirements in marine chemical manufacturing and supply, possess relevant certifications and compliance with international maritime regulations, and demonstrate financial and technical capacity. All interested applicants are required to review the detailed prequalification documents which include qualification criteria, specific experience requirements, scope of work, and required submission formats.
Prequalification documents in English are available for download from www.pnsc.com.pk after registering on the portal. Completed applications duly filled, signed and stamped must be submitted by email only to stores.marinechemicals@pnsc.com.pk by 11:00 AM on August 10th, 2026. Prequalification applications will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of applicants who wish to attend.
