Description / Scope of Work
Social Security Hospital Madina Town Faisalabad invites bids through Punjab E-Procurement from eligible manufacturers, sole agents of foreign principals, and authorized distributors for a framework contract to supply chemicals for laboratory use, blood bank materials, small medical appliances, and dialysis disposables for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement covers four distinct categories: chemicals for lab (estimated cost PKR 2,90,00,000), blood bank supplies (PKR 55,00,000), small medical appliances (PKR 3,30,00,000), and dialysis disposables (PKR 3,80,00,000), with a combined estimated value of approximately PKR 12,55,00,000. The contract is for supply to the hospital located in Faisalabad, Punjab, and is open to registered taxpayers active in the relevant sectors.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Punjab E-Procurement and PPRA, hold valid Sales Tax Registration and Income Tax (Active) certificates, and possess established technical and financial credentials. Bidders must not be blacklisted by PPRA or PESSI. A bid security of two percent of the estimated cost must be submitted electronically on the Punjab e-Procurement platform in accordance with Rule 27 of PPRA Rules 2014. Samples of quoted products must be physically submitted to the hospital office on or before the closing date and a scanned copy uploaded with the electronic bid.
Interested bidders may download bidding documents from PPRA, PESSI, and Punjab E-Procurement websites. Bids must be uploaded by 27 August 2026 at 10:00 AM and will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM using a Single Stage Two Envelopes procedure under Rule 38(2)(a) of Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority Rules 2014. Bid validity is 180 days from submission. The procurement is governed by Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended, and the tender may be cancelled at any stage per Rule 35 of PPRA Rules 2014.
