For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
PRCL seeks an independent audit firm for specialized IFRS 17 implementation review—a technical, compliance-focused engagement rather than traditional financial audit.
This is a one-off consultancy for FY 2026-27 assessing readiness and dry-run outcomes against international standards. Scale appears medium; the engagement duration and resource intensity depend on PRCL's operational complexity and implementation scope, which are not detailed. Tight deadline (July 2026) suggests preparation phase already underway. Bidders must demonstrate IFRS expertise, prior insurance/reinsurance audit experience, and familiarity with standard-setting implementation reviews.
Who can bid: Bidders must register on ePADS v2.0 and comply with Public Procurement Rules 2004. Typically, audit firms require ICAP membership, valid practice certificate, tax registration (NTN), and SECP registration. Foreign firms typically need local partnership or registration. Specific PEC or sector certifications not stated; IFRS expertise likely expected implicitly given specialized nature.
