Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for the procurement of general store items under tender number 03/Normal/2026-27 for the financial year 2026-27. The tender covers a diverse range of supplies including technical gases such as acetylene, argon, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, oxygen and hydrogen in various grades and formats, as well as industrial paints and finishing products from the Andrew brand in multiple colors and specifications. The procurement is executed in Rawalpindi, Punjab through a single-stage two-envelope bidding process and will be completed within the current financial year either in full or in part. Quantities may be amended or decreased at the time of placing orders.
Bidders must be Original Equipment Manufacturers, authorized agents, distributors or suppliers registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax departments, listed on the Active Taxpayer List of the Federal Board of Revenue, and registered with the Directorate General Defense Purchase, Directorate General Procurement-Army, relevant Ordnance Depots of Pakistan Army or Pakistan Engineering Council. Bid security equal to five percent of the estimated bid value must be deposited within five working days of intimation. Bids submitted without complete documentation or those failing to submit technical proposals, financial proposals and vendor profile documents in separate sealed envelopes will face outright rejection.
The complete set of tender documents can be obtained from the Local Purchase Office of Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi, Fort Road, Rawalpindi, between 0830 and 1530 hours on working days by telephoning 051-8770950 or 0319-9436032. Sealed bids must be submitted before 1030 hours on 27 July 2026 to Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi, Fort Road, Rawalpindi Cantonment, with bid opening scheduled for 1100 hours the same day in the Conference Room with bidder representatives in attendance. Participating firms must submit a request letter before tender collection and provide samples and technical specifications as detailed in the annexures.
