Description / Scope of Work
The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) through the Chief Engineer (O&M) at Tarbela 4th Extension Hydel Power Station invites electronic bids for the procurement of a Refrigerant Recovery Unit for the Electrical Plant Section. This is a delivery and installation project to be executed on a D.D.P (Delivered Duty Paid) basis with a performance period of 120 days. The tender is referenced as PID(L)/26 PRD(L)/WAPDA/006(2026-27) and the bid reference number is CE(O&M)/T4/ITR/84. The procurement is advertised through the official e-procurement portal and the PPRA website, serving the Tarbela power station facility in Punjab.
Eligible bidders must be original manufacturers, authorized distributors, suppliers, or contractors duly registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and included on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Each bidder is required to furnish a bid security of PKR 95,000 in the form of a Crossed Demand Draft (CDR) made in favor of the Chief Engineer (O&M), T4 Extension Hydel Power Station, WAPDA Tarbela. The original bid security must be received at the office of the Chief Engineer (O&M), 4th Extension Hydel Power Station, Tarbela, on or before the bid closing time.
Electronic bids must be submitted through the EPADS platform (www.eprocure.gov.pk) on or before 11 August 2026 at 1100 hours; manual bids will not be accepted. Bid documents containing detailed terms and conditions, evaluation criteria, bid validity provisions, and performance guarantee specifications are available for registered bidders on EPADS. Electronic bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours in the presence of bidders or their designated representatives at the Officer's Club, Riverview Colony, Tarbela.
