Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Superintendent District Jail Lahore invites electronic bids for the procurement of wheat (FAQ variety) for the duration period 2025-26. The tender is for the supply of 180,000 kilograms of wheat with a total estimated amount of PKR 19,800,000. This e-procurement is conducted through the Punjab E-Procurement System under the authority of the Prisons Department Punjab. The goods are required to be delivered at the jail gate in Lahore, Punjab, with no carriage expenses payable by the procuring agency. All quoted prices must be inclusive of taxes and transportation costs.
To participate in this tender, bidders must be registered on the Punjab E-Procurement System and meet eligibility criteria including being free from blacklisting by any government department or PPRA. Bids will only be accepted through the e-procurement system; no manual submissions by hand, mail, or courier are permitted. The bid validity period is 90 days from submission. The Inspector General of Prisons Punjab reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals under Rule-35 of PPR-2014.
