Description / Scope of Work
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government invites sealed tenders for the installation of single arm solar street lights at village councils in Pindyali, Prang Ghar, Ekka Ghund and Ambar areas of Lower Mohmand District, along with solarization of existing drinking water supply schemes and installation of single arm pole lights and wall-mounted LED lighting systems in upper and lower Mohmand. The total estimated cost for these infrastructure projects is approximately 99 million Pakistani Rupees. The work encompasses multiple interrelated components designed to improve public utilities and street lighting across the district through modern solar and LED technologies.
Eligibility criteria require contractors to be registered with the Provincial Procurement Entity and centrally enlisted with the Civil and Works Department under the Centralized Enlistment Policy of KPK. Bidders must possess valid PEC registration in relevant categories with specialization codes for solar installation and general electrical works, valid electrical inspectorate registration for at least Class A and B works, and active registration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority for provincial sales tax. Certificate of Sole Proprietorship or Form-II registration with SECP as a Private Company Limited is mandatory. Additional requirements include valid Federal Board of Revenue income tax registration and enlistment with PPIB. Bid security of two percent of the Engineer's estimate is required, with additional security applicable for bids quoted below the engineer's estimate as per prescribed thresholds.
Bidding documents are available for download from the official ePADS website at www.portal.kp.eprocure.gov.pk and the KPPRA website at www.kppra.gov.pk following publication of the Notice Inviting Tender. Electronic bids must be submitted through ePADS portal with scanned copies of bid security and supporting documentation. The electronic tender forms will be opened on 29 July 2026 at 12:30 PM at the office of the Assistant Director, Local Government and Rural Development Department in Lower Mohmand. All bids remain valid for 90 days from the closing date, and the procuring entity reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with KPPRA Rule 47.
