Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited (PIDCL), Ministry of Housing & Works, Government of Pakistan, invites bids through the online E-PADS 2.0 platform for a multi-contract package comprising provision, installation and fixing of street lights, electrical poles, high mast LED flood lights, and associated electrical and mechanical works across multiple union councils in Karachi, Sindh Province. The scope encompasses street lighting installations in areas including Landhi, Korangi Town, Bagh-e-Korangi, P.I.B. Jinnah Town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Cantonment, Surjani Town, Liaquatabad and Nazimabad, with estimated contract values ranging from Rs. 9.1 million to Rs. 140.7 million depending on individual packages, and cumulative estimated cost in excess of Rs. 600 million for the complete procurement.
Eligibility is restricted to firms maintaining valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in appropriate category and specialized field under relevant codes, along with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) registration and compliance with applicable taxes. Bid security must be furnished in the form of Pay Order, CDR or Bank Guarantee in favour of Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited, with amounts specified for each contract package. Tender fee of Rs. 5,000 payable in advance is mandatory, and bidding documents including detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and technical specifications are available upon payment of this fee from the PIDCL office.
Bids must be submitted electronically via E-PADS 2.0 platform before the deadline of 31 August 2026, 2:00 PM. Original tender fee, bid security and E-stamp papers must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Office of the General Manager (Engineering), PIDCL, Bahria Complex IV, 6th Floor, Extension Block, Gizri, Karachi, before bid submission time.
