For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
Annual food and provisions supply contract for a correctional facility covering 44 distinct items (staples, fresh produce, proteins, medicines, consumables) valued at Rs.
11 million for FY 2026-27. Scale suggests medium-sized recurring supply arrangement requiring reliable logistics and cold-chain capability for perishables. Jail operations demand consistent quality and compliance; supplier stability matters more than competitive underbidding. Deadline is tight (notice to July 2026 closing) and delivery rhythm will be frequent given institutional consumption patterns.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with relevant government authorities, hold valid tax registration (NTN implied) and business licenses. Typically, suppliers of food/provisions to government institutions require SECP registration (if corporate) or FBR enlistment. No PEC category applies (non-construction). Bid security at prescribed percentage of contract value mandatory.
