Description / Scope of Work
The University of Sindh, Jamshoro invites electronic sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, suppliers, firms and companies for the procurement of new single iron beds (cots) with nawaher for Sindh University Boys' Hostels in Jamshoro for the financial year 2026-2027. This tender is issued under National Competitive Bidding procedures in accordance with the Sindh Public Procurement Rules, 2010 (Amended up to date) and will be conducted through the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (SPPRA) E-PADS Portal. The procurement process is advertised under reference PSO/UoS/462 dated 2nd July 2026 with bids to be submitted by 27 July 2026 at 11:00 AM.
Eligible bidders must possess a valid National Tax Number (NTN), active income tax registration with FBR, active sales tax registration with SRB/FBR where applicable, and active taxpayer status (ATL). The minimum average annual turnover requirement is PKR 10 million during the last three financial years, supported by audited financial statements and bank statements from a scheduled bank. Bidders must furnish relevant experience through purchase orders, work orders, completion certificates and satisfactory performance certificates. Bid security equivalent to 2% of the quoted bid price must be submitted in the form of pay order, call deposit receipt, demand draft or bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank operating in Pakistan.
Bidding documents are available for download from the SPPRA E-PADS Portal and University of Sindh Website upon payment of a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 5,000. Original bid security and tender fee must be submitted at the Purchase and Stores Office, Allama I.I. Kazi Campus, University of Sindh, Jamshoro before the closing time. Bids will be opened electronically on 27 July 2026 at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance security equivalent to 5% of the contract price prior to execution of the contract agreement.
