Pakistan LNG Limited invites bids for the procurement of liquefied natural gas (LNG) on a spot tender basis with delivered ex ship terms under tender reference PLL/IMP/LNGT74. The tender concerns the supply of one cargo of LNG scheduled for delivery during 15-16 July 2026 to the Pakistan Gas Port Consortium Limited Terminal located at Port Qasim. The LNG will be distributed through gas utilities serving consumers across Pakistan's Federal territory. The specification and exact quantity of LNG required are detailed in the bid document, with the contract structured under the MSPA framework supplemented by a detailed Confirmation Notice issued by PLL upon award.
Bidders must submit both technical information and commercial offers in sealed envelopes. Technical compliance will be evaluated first, followed by commercial evaluation of compliant bids based on price and other stated criteria. Bidders are required to provide a Performance Guarantee within the deadline specified by PLL. All bids must be denominated in the currency and format specified in the tender documents. Eligible bidders should be established LNG suppliers or traders with proven capacity to deliver to Port Qasim.
Bid documents are available from Pakistan LNG Limited, and all submissions must arrive by 14:00 hours PST on 10 July 2026. Technical envelopes will be opened at 14:30 hours PST the same day, with commercial offers of technically compliant bidders opened at 15:30 hours PST. The bid validity period extends until 22:00 hours PST on 10 July 2026, and award notification will be issued immediately thereafter.
