The Office of the Superintendent, Remand Home under the Government of Sindh, Home Department is inviting sealed tenders for the supply of food and commodities items for the financial year 2026-27. This tender covers comprehensive provisioning for approximately 10,800 inmates housed at the Remand Home and Certified School Karachi, located near the Juvenile Judicial Complex at Central Prison, Karachi. The scope includes 38 line items encompassing wheat flour, cooking oil, tea leaves, fresh buns, milk, sugar, various pulses, rice, chicken, beef, vegetables, spices, fruits, eggs, drinking water and seasonal items for religious observances. The estimated annual quantity requirements are detailed with approved per-inmate ratios to ensure nutritional standards and institutional catering needs throughout the financial year.
Bidders must be registered suppliers capable of meeting quality specifications and delivery schedules as outlined in the tender document. Suppliers of perishable items such as fresh meat, poultry and vegetables must provide evidence of quality certification and municipal health clearances where applicable.
