Description / Scope of Work
Punjab Thalassaemia and other Genetic Disorders Prevention and Research Institute (PTGD) invites sealed bids for the purchase of chemicals and consumables required for DNA, Hematology Laboratory and Cardiovascular Services (CVS) for the fiscal year 2026-27. The procurement is divided into two packages: Package 1 comprises chemicals and consumables without Dossier Technical Locale (DTL) requirements with an estimated cost of 11.966 million rupees, while Package 2 comprises chemicals and consumables with DTL requirements with an estimated cost of 1.6533 million rupees. Both packages are for supply to the PTGD facility located in Lahore, Punjab. The tender is published under Tender Notice Number 331/PTGD/2026 and is intended to ensure adequate supply of essential laboratory materials for ongoing genetic disorder prevention and research activities.
Bidders must be original manufacturers or authorized agents of foreign manufacturers registered with relevant Pakistani tax and regulatory authorities. A bid security of two percent of the estimated amount for each item must be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) payable to the Director General, PTGD. A performance guarantee of five percent of the contract value is required from successful bidders. All bids must include a Certificate of Authorization that is current and valid. Additionally, bidders must submit affidavits on one hundred rupee stamp papers confirming that the firm is not blacklisted by PTGD or PPRA and that all information furnished in the bidding documents is true and correct.
Bidding documents are available from the Administration Department at 1st Floor, Out Door Building, Gate No. 5, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore, or can be downloaded from the PPRA website. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System (EPADS) at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk by 11:00 AM on 28-07-2026. Technical bids will be opened on the same date at 11:30 AM at the Administration Department office. Financial proposals shall be opened subsequently for technically qualified firms only.
