POF is procuring industrial chemicals and gases via e-bidding with a closing date of 24 September 2026.
The tender specifies original manufacturers and authorized dealers only—suggesting quality and warranty assurance are key procurement drivers. The notice provides no estimated quantity or value, making scale assessment difficult, though POF's defence sector status indicates substantial volume potential. Online submission is mandatory; non-digital bidders are excluded. Turnaround from publication to closing is approximately two months.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with Pakistan's Income Tax and Sales Tax departments. Original manufacturers, authorized dealers and authorized suppliers are eligible. Typically for industrial chemicals and gases, bidders should also hold relevant certifications from environmental or health and safety authorities, though the notice does not explicitly state this requirement.
