Karachi Port Trust, the gateway authority to Pakistan, invites sealed tenders through E-PADS Version-2.0 for the rehabilitation of KV-92 16 E-type flats located at China Creek Keamari in Karachi, Sindh. The project encompasses comprehensive renovation works including dismantling and chiseling of old concrete and RCC solid block masonry, plaster and tile installation, provision and fixing of bathroom accessories and fixtures, doors and windows work, kitchen cabinets and shelves fabrication, general steel works, water supply sanitary and sewerage installations, plumbing and paving works, coloring and painting, provision of underground water tanks, and waterproofing treatments. The tender is invited under PPRA Rule 36(a) through the Engineering Department with a bid security of Rs. 1,800,000 fixed refundable amount.
Intending bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-4 and above with specialized codes CE-09 and CE-10, valid on the tender opening date. Only FBR and SRB registered bidders are eligible to participate. Required documentation includes valid NTN and SRB certificates, fresh online tax verification copies, updated company profiles for first-time KPT participants, valid PEC registration certificates, audited financial statements for the last three years demonstrating minimum average turnover of Rs. 70 million, and an affidavit confirming non-defaulter status and non-blacklisting by any organization. A tender fee of Rs. 5,000 non-refundable and bid security of Rs. 1,800,000 refundable in the form of pay orders must be submitted.
Bidders must register on E-PADS Version-2.0 at https://epads.gov.pk and submit completed bids with all required documents in sealed envelopes. Bid receipt occurs on 29 July 2026 at 1030 hours with opening at 1100 hours the same day at the Committee Room of Civil Works and Engineering Department, 2nd Floor, KPT Head Office Building, Karachi.
