Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) invites sealed bids for the supply of 100 units of 12V 18Ah rechargeable sealed lead acid batteries intended for use in mini electronic volume correctors. The tender is floated under RFQ number SSGC/LP/EPADS/NR/2168216 with an estimated procurement value based on quantities and specifications detailed in the bid form. The supply is required in Sindh province and shall be delivered within 30 to 45 days after confirmation of purchase order. Bidders must participate through the EPADS (E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System) online platform and are required to submit their bids electronically before the closing date of 7 August 2026 at 10:00 hours.
Eligibility and compliance requirements include submission of an OEM authorized dealership or distribution certificate clearly stating that the bidder is an authorized dealer or distributor of the offered battery brand. A fixed bid bond amount of PKR 20,000 must be submitted in original to the SSGC Tender Room at head office along with a scanned copy uploaded on EPADS; bids lacking the original bid bond will be rejected. All quotations must be submitted on the official bid form with unit prices inclusive of all duties, taxes, and discounts except General Sales Tax (GST), which will be reimbursed separately. Bidders must also provide at least one battery sample with technical literature for technical evaluation at bid opening.
Tender documents are available for download from the EPADS portal and the SSGC website. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS before the deadline of 7 August 2026 at 10:00 AM; late submissions will be rejected. Technical evaluation will be conducted on the opening date, and the order will be awarded to the lowest technically and commercially compliant bidder. Battery specifications include 12-volt nominal voltage, 18Ah current rating, F3 terminal type with nut and bolt, physical dimensions of 176mm length, 75mm width, and 163–167mm height, with Date of Manufacturing (DOM) not older than 2 months for local manufacturers or 8 months for imported batteries. All offers remain valid for 120 days from bid opening, and bid security is valid for 150 days.
