The tender is floated under RFQ number SSGC/LP/EPADS/NR/2168216 with an estimated procurement value based on quantities and specifications detailed in the bid form. The supply is required in Sindh province and shall be delivered within 30 to 45 days after confirmation of purchase order. Eligibility and compliance requirements include submission of an OEM authorized dealership or distribution certificate clearly stating that the bidder is an authorized dealer or distributor of the offered battery brand. A fixed bid bond amount of PKR 20,000 must be submitted in original to the SSGC Tender Room at head office along with a scanned copy uploaded on EPADS; bids lacking the original bid bond will be rejected. Bidders must also provide at least one battery sample with technical literature for technical evaluation at bid opening.
Tender documents are available for download from the EPADS portal and the SSGC website. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS before the deadline of 7 August 2026 at 10:00 AM; late submissions will be rejected. SSGC seeks 100 units of 12V 18Ah sealed lead-acid batteries for mini electronic volume correctors—a straightforward supply contract of modest volume.
Delivery window is 30–45 days post-PO; timeline is manageable but DOM restrictions (2 months local, 8 months imported) mean inventory must be current. This appears one-off procurement tied to SSGC's operational needs. Critical requirement: OEM authorized dealership certificate is mandatory—bidders without direct authorization from the battery manufacturer will be disqualified. Bid bond of PKR 20,000 must be submitted in original hardcopy to SSGC head office, not merely scanned; non-compliance triggers automatic rejection. Sample submission with technical literature is compulsory at opening, not optional.
Who can bid: Bidder must hold OEM authorized dealership or distribution certificate for the offered battery brand—this is strictly enforced. Registration typically required: NTN, SECP for corporate entities, or relevant provincial authority. No PEC category applies (non-construction). Bidders must have active EPADS (E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System) access. Late or electronically non-compliant bids are rejected; physical bid bond absence is grounds for disqualification.
