Description / Scope of Work
The Regional Police Officer, Sahiwal invites electronic bids through the e-Procurement Punjab system for the supply and provision of miscellaneous items, maintenance and repair work of police buildings and services on a framework contract basis for the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement encompasses four lots with a combined estimated value of PKR 17.8 million, covering batteries and filters (oil, air and fuel), Mobil oil, spare parts, tyres and tubes, miscellaneous items, ice and coal, repair of machinery, purchase of furniture, machinery and equipment, stationery and computer stationery items, printing items, computer and IT equipment, and repair of buildings including office and residential structures as well as transport repairs. The tender is being conducted under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 on a lot-wise basis, with bids required to be submitted through the official e-Procurement portal.
Bidders must be registered with relevant registration authorities and tax departments including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Punjab Sales Tax authorities. Bid security of two percent of the estimated cost is mandatory for each lot, to be submitted in the form of a CDR, bank guarantee, demand draft or pay order from a scheduled bank in favour of the RPO, Sahiwal before the electronic bid submission deadline. Upon acceptance of tenders, successful bidders must deposit a performance guarantee of five percent of the total contract value. Electronic bids comprising a single package containing technical and financial proposals must be submitted online on the e-Procurement Punjab system website on or before 05 September 2026 at 11:00 AM. The tender will be opened on 05 September 2026 at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Technical samples of each item are mandatory and bidders must bring their samples at the time of tender opening, failing which offers will be rejected. The bid validity period extends until the close of the financial year on 30 June 2027. Late submissions will not be accepted.
