Bank of Punjab seeks Forti Tokens (security authentication devices) valued at Rs.
4M via single-stage two-envelope bidding. Supply scope covers technical specs, warranty support, and installation across Pakistan with 4-6 week delivery. Tight same-day bid opening (28 July 2026, 11:30am) creates compressed submission window. Pricing in USD convertible to PKR at invoice date presents forex risk. This appears a one-off procurement for a major financial institution's security infrastructure—likely standardized requirements but vendor lock-in post-award.
Who can bid: Typically, IT/software vendors must hold NTN, valid SECP registration, and relevant certifications for security products. No explicit PEC category mentioned (non-construction). Notice requires government clearances for sales tax, customs duties, and tax compliance. Authorized Forti distributor status likely implied but not stated. No SME/minority restriction apparent.
