Description / Scope of Work
The Sahiwal Forest Division, Punjab Forest Department invites bids from nursery owners, sale agents, and firms registered with the Income Tax Department for the provision of plants, planting, landscaping, and related civil works under the PC-I Scheme for plantation and development of green belts along D.M. Road in Vehari City, Punjab. The project scope includes landscape development at V-Chowk Roundabout near Kalsoom Nawaz Park Gate, Korean grass carpet provision along Burewala Road from entrance gate to V-Chowk, landscape development from V-Chowk to Khanewal Chowk, and further development from Khanewal Chowk to 93 More. The estimated tender value is approximately Rs. 61,456,798 with a project completion timeline extending until 30 June 2027. This comprehensive green infrastructure project includes construction of planters, digging of pits in center medians and for trees, civil beautification work for triangular areas along the road, and irrigation charges for four quarters.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Punjab PPRA e-procurement portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login and registered with Income Tax departments, demonstrating sufficient managerial capabilities. Bidders are required to submit online 5% bid security of the estimated cost amounting to Rs. 3,072,840 through the portal and in hard copy to the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Sahiwal, on or before the tender opening date. All bidders must provide item-wise rates for every item as specified in the detailed annexures; failure to quote for any single item or quoting rates higher than prescribed amounts will result in bid rejection. Only single stage single envelope bids submitted through the E-Procurement portal will be accepted; applications received through courier, post, or email will not be considered.
Bid documents are available for download from the PPRA website at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login. The tender will be opened on 01 August 2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Sahiwal, where all bids will be retrieved, opened, and successful bidder rates announced at 11:30 AM in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. Selected contractors must complete work within 45 days of work order issuance and maintain the plantation until 30 June 2027. All applicable government taxes will be deducted as per policy.
