PMD seeks a full-time Financial Management Specialist (consultant, not employee) for a World Bank-funded flood resilience project.
This is a specialized advisory role requiring 10+ years managing large meteorological/climate institutions and government engagement—not procurement of goods/services. The position emphasizes capacity building and technical implementation under WB governance rules. Tight deadline (July 2026) and WB experience preference suggest competition from internationally-experienced candidates; local institutional knowledge may be undervalued.
Who can bid: Individual consultant position (not corporate bidding). Must hold MS or equivalent postgraduate degree in Civil, Agricultural, or related sciences. Minimum 10 years professional experience managing climate or meteorological institutions. Pakistani nationals typically required for government consultant roles; no explicit restriction stated. NTN/SECP registration typically not required for individual consultants under WB procurement.
