Description / Scope of Work
This e-tendering notice invites bids for the procurement of furniture for Workers Welfare Schools for Boys and Girls located at Toba Tek Singh in Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 52,465,300 and the tender is being issued by the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority under the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Rules 2014. The procurement will follow a Single Stage-two Envelope procedure (PPRA-38 (2) (a)) and is restricted to firms and contractors registered on the e-Procurement portal with active filer status for National Tax Number (NTN), Sales Tax Registration Number (STRN), and Secured Electronic Commerce Protocol (SECP). This is a critical infrastructure project for educational institutions serving worker communities in Punjab.
To participate in this e-tendering process, bidders must first register their firms on the e-Procurement website at http://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk by submitting requisite information to the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority. Eligible contractors and suppliers must submit bids accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 2% of the estimated cost in the form of a bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan, payable to the Director Works, Punjab Workers Welfare Fund, Lahore. The guarantee must remain valid for 30 days after the bid submission deadline. Bidders are required to quote tender rates in both figures and words in accordance with the Bill of Quantities specifications available on the tender portal.
Bidding documents including technical and financial specifications will be available immediately on the e-Procurement portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login upon publication of this notice. Contractors must submit their technical and financial proposals through PDF file uploads on the e-Procurement platform in compliance with PPRA Regulations 2024, Regulation-6(4). Only technical proposals will be opened on the tender opening date of 24 July 2026 at 11:30 AM; financial proposals from responsive bidders will be opened subsequently. Tender submission must occur exclusively through the e-Procurement portal with no acceptance of bids via telegraph or postal mail. All bidders must obtain published tender documents through the e-Procurement system only.
