Description / Scope of Work
The Communication & Works Department Gilgit-Baltistan, Building Division Gilgit Region invites sealed tenders under Single Stage One Envelope (SSOE) procedure for the construction of a product Display Centre for Food Processing under the Promotion of Fruits and Honey Value Added Products project in Gilgit Region. The construction cost is estimated at PKR 2,559,200 and the work is to be executed in Gilgit, Gilgit-Baltistan. The tender reference is No.AB/Advr/Cash-2 (1)2025-26/439 dated 13th July 2026.
Eligible firms and contractors must be licensed by Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C6 and above with valid registration up to 30th June 2027 and relevant specialization. Bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit of 2 percent (PKR 51,184) in the form of a call deposit receipt (CDR) from any scheduled bank with original signatures embossed thereon. Additional documents required include a No Litigation/No Sick Scheme certificate for 2026-27, original renewal receipt in Works Department GB, copy of National Identity card of the firm owner, and project-specific power of attorney if applicable. Bids quoted below 10 percent of the tender schedule estimate must include an additional performance guarantee of 10 percent differential amount in CDR form.
Bidding documents costing PKR 4,000 (non-refundable) can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer Building Division GB C&WD Gilgit on any working day through treasury challan submission. The bid closing date and time is 28th July 2026 at 10:00 AM with opening scheduled for the same day at 10:30 AM.
