For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

Emergency restoration of a damaged suspension bridge in remote Shigar region; single high-value contract (~Rs.

26.4–29.3M) with evaluated bids already submitted and winner announced. This appears post-tender closure (bid opening 10 Feb 2026, evaluation 13 July 2026), making it unsuitable for new bidders unless rebid is called. Notable: single-stage procurement under PPRA emergency provisions suggests compressed timeline and technical complexity typical of critical infrastructure in difficult terrain.

Who can bid: Typically requires PEC Category C or higher for bridge work; valid NTN/FBR registration; SECP incorporation if company structure; compliance with PPRA Rules 2022 contractor registration. No restrictions stated, but emergency work under GB authority implies preference for experienced civil contractors with demonstrable suspension-bridge or similar structural capability.
