Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority invites electronic bids from eligible contractors for emergency maintenance work comprising shoulder and drain protection work on National Highway N-10 from kilometer 137+000 to kilometer 138+000 in the Balochistan West-Makran region near Gwadar. The contract is valued at Rupees 14,532,567. This is a single emergency maintenance project intended to restore and protect the road infrastructure in this critical transport corridor. The work falls under the Road Maintenance Fund managed by NHA and is open to contractors registered with Pakistan's Income Tax Department and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the year 2026.
Prospective bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department and hold current PEC registration in category C-5 and above with specialization codes CE-01 and C-10. Bidders are required to submit bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the Engineer's Estimate in the form of a postal order or call deposit receipt in favor of National Highway Authority (Road Maintenance Fund-Security Deposit). Unsubstantiated or incorrect information submitted by bidders will result in disqualification and potential legal action. All firms must obtain EPADS (PPRA) registration at www.eprocure.gov.pk immediately as manual hard copy bids will not be accepted in future procurements.
Bidding documents will be available for free download from the NHA website www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk starting September 02, 2026. Electronic bids must be submitted by September 17, 2026 at 1100 hours to the Director (Maintenance) Balochistan West-Makran Region at NHA Complex, Fish Harbor Road, Gwadar (Phone: 086-4210199, Email: dirmaint-bw@nha.gov.pk). Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. NHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with PPRA Rules.
