Description / Scope of Work
LG&CD Civil Division Gujrat invites electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms through the Punjab e-Procurement System for construction of roads, streets, drains and culverts across multiple villages in Gujrat district, Punjab. This comprehensive development initiative encompasses nine separate schemes with a combined estimated cost of approximately 215.5 million rupees, including location-specific works in villages such as Mohalla Allena, Bega Bamian, Chacknawali, Dhoeder, Nagrianwala, Jasoki, Ghoraya, Hariawala and Khatala spread throughout the district. The tender scope includes construction of complete road infrastructure with drainage systems and culverts to improve rural connectivity and water management in these communities.
Contractors and firms must be duly enlisted and renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the financial year 2026-27 and must fulfill all eligibility requirements prescribed in the bidding documents. Bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted only through Digital Bank Guarantee (e-Bank Guarantee) via the Punjab e-Procurement System with scheduled transmission through SWIFT MT760. Bidders must generate the PSID from the e-Procurement Portal and arrange with their scheduled bank to issue and transmit the Digital Bank Guarantee in favour of the Executive Engineer LG&CD Civil Division Gujrat. Performance security equal to 10% of the contract price is required upon acceptance of the bid through SWIFT MT760 as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.

Electronic bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System only on or before 12 September 2026 at 12:30 PM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 1:00 PM in the office of the Assistant Engineer LG&CD Civil Sub Division Gujrat.
