Transformers, Cables and Termination Kits Supply by IESCO for 2026-27

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites e-bids for the year 2026-27 for supply of electrical materials on free delivery basis to IESCO Regional Stores in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Rajjar. The procurement includes 63 KVA, 100 KVA, 400 KVA and 630 KVA single and pad mounted transformers, PVC cables of various specifications including 120mm2 single core and 70mm2 types, straight joint kits, termination kits for single and three core applications in both indoor and outdoor variants, and PVC joint kits. The total tender scope comprises multiple line items with quantities ranging from 5 to 2500 units and estimated bid board amounts between PKR 5,000 to PKR 3,000,000. This is a significant procurement initiative for IESCO's infrastructure development and maintenance operations in the Federal region.

Eligibility is restricted to firms and manufacturers registered with DISCOs, PPMC, WAPDA, or NGC (formerly NTDC) and FBR with valid prototype approval where applicable. Bidders must hold appropriate licenses and registrations as specified in the bidding documents. Bid security must be submitted in original form as a Bank Guarantee or CDR from any scheduled bank of Pakistan, with rating A+ or above in favor of the IESCO Chief Executive Officer. Security amounts and validity periods vary by tender number, ranging from 28 days to 148 days beyond bid validity.

Only e-bids are acceptable through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) portal at www.epads.gov.pk. Bidders must upload all mandatory information as required in bidding documents. The tender will be opened on single stage one envelope basis on 28 July 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at IESCO Head Office G-7/4 Street No. 40, Islamabad. Bid validity periods are 60 days for tenders 32-35 and 120 days for tenders 36-45. Materials must conform to WAPDA/NTDC specifications as amended.
