For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
IESCo seeks contractors for a single-floor office renovation within their Chakwal complex—straightforward interior refurbishment of an existing SE office, likely 2,000–5,000 sqm scope.
The 18-month timeline (notice to July 2026) suggests moderate complexity. Key consideration: work occurs in an operational utility facility, implying coordination constraints and possible phased access. Renovation (not new construction) favors experienced fit-out contractors. EPADS registration is mandatory; no unusual technical hurdles apparent, but utility sector clients typically enforce strict safety and environmental compliance.
Who can bid: Typically requires PEC registration (category A or B for civil works), SECP incorporation, active NTN, and documented renovation/construction experience. Registration on EPADS v2.0 platform is mandatory. Notice specifies 'relevant experience in civil construction and renovation works' but does not state minimum project value, team qualifications, or financial thresholds explicitly—check bidding documents for these.
