For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

PIDCL is bundling six distinct infrastructure packages totaling Rs 1.005 billion across Latifabad—pedestrian bridge, CC roads with utilities, water storage reservoirs, and solar street lighting.

This is a mega-tender with tight July 2026 closure and modular contract lots, allowing staged participation. Scale suggests only established contractors with PEC credentials and prior PSDP experience can realistically compete. Notably, physical bid submission to Karachi office is mandatory alongside e-submission, adding logistical burden.

Who can bid: PEC registration in appropriate construction/civil categories required. FBR tax registration (NTN) and Sindh Revenue Board tax compliance mandatory. Typically, bidders must also hold SECP registration if operating as company. No explicit upper/lower turnover caps stated but PSDP contracts typically screen for financial capacity and prior government project experience.
