Description / Scope of Work
This document presents the results of technical evaluation of bids for repair and maintenance of vehicles, purchase of furniture and fixtures, and machinery and equipment in Gilgit-Baltistan. The Technical Evaluation Committee opened the technical bids submitted by participating firms and contractors on 6th July 2026 at 12:00 A.M., following the tender notice published in national and local print media and on the GB-PPRA website on 11th June 2026, with the re-scheduled tender notice dated 22nd June 2026. The procurement encompasses three main categories: furniture and fixtures, machinery and equipment, and vehicle repair and maintenance services.
The evaluation was conducted in accordance with eligibility criteria and PPRA Rules. For the Furniture and Fixtures category, three firms qualified as technically compliant: Hunza Carpet & Furniture House, Siraj Traders, and MS Seven Brothers. One bidder, Muhammad Nadeem & Associates, was disqualified after site inspection revealed the firm did not possess its own shop or store facility relevant to the nature of the work at the specified location. In the Machinery and Equipment category, all five participating firms successfully qualified: Instant Computer Services, Mir Enterprises, Crown Traders, Hum Scientific Instrument, and MZ Enterprises. For Repair and Maintenance of Vehicles, three firms qualified: Waleed Autos, MS Sardar Alam & Sons, and Butt Autos.
Bidders who qualified in the technical evaluation are now eligible to proceed to the financial bid opening stage. The evaluation process included physical site verification where required and assessment of compliance with all prescribed criteria. Interested parties should contact the issuing authority for further information regarding financial bid submission and opening dates. The procurement notice was uploaded on the GB-PPRA website and published in print media for transparency and wide participation.
