Electrical and Mechanical Parts and Job Work for Pumps – Rate Running Contractor 2026-27

The Office of the Chief Engineer, Right Bank Drainage Region, Larkana, is inviting quotations for procurement of electrical and mechanical parts and job work services for pumps during the financial year 2026-27. This rate running contract covers a comprehensive range of supply and repair services including rewinding of electric motors (80 HP and 100 HP), supply of modern enameled copper wire, air breaker contact sets, magnetic coils, ball bearings from reputed manufacturers like NTN Japan and Siemens, circuit breaker repairs, relay supplies and repairs, stuffing box repairs, column pipes, suction pipes, motor cooling fans, and various pump shafts and components. The total tentative quantity includes 65 pieces of 100 HP motor rewinding, 12 pieces of 80 HP motor rewinding, 3670 kilograms of copper wire, and numerous individual components and repair jobs. The scope extends to dismantling of PNZ pumps, impeller repairs, and complete stuffing box assembly for discharge capacities of 20 and 30 cusec across pumping stations in the region.

Bidders must be registered contractors with relevant experience in electrical and mechanical work related to pump maintenance and repair. All suppliers must provide quotations with transparent pricing for each line item. Bid security and performance guarantees as per Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (as amended) shall be required. Contractors should possess valid GST registration and other statutory compliance certificates. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder based on transparent evaluation of technical and financial proposals.
