Description / Scope of Work
The International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry at the University of Karachi, Sindh, invites sealed tenders from registered EPADS vendors and suppliers for the purchase of 100 meters of electrical cable with specifications of 150MM 4 core copper PVC/PVC rated 600/1000V. The tender is issued on a FOR (Free on Rail) basis under a single-stage, one-envelope procurement procedure. The estimated cost is below PKR 5.0 million. Eligibility requirements mandate that bidders must be registered with the Sindh Revenue Board and income tax department where applicable. Suppliers must be EPADS-registered vendors. A tender fee of PKR 1,000 (non-refundable) must be deposited in United Bank Limited Account No. 1146-291497301. Earnest money equivalent to 2% of the estimated bid value must be submitted as a pay order in favour of the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences Tender Account. The cable must be Pakistan Cable or equivalent grade, with a valid testing report and manufacturer or Tier-1 authorised distributor certificate required. Bidders must provide two verifiable references with contact details for previous electrical cable supply. Only duly signed and stamped uploaded bids with supporting documents will be accepted.
Bidding documents must be submitted through EPADS by 15 September 2026 at 11:30 AM, with tender opening scheduled for 15 September 2026 at 12:00 noon. The original bid security pay order must reach the ICCBS Purchase Department before the submission deadline. For delivery, the FOR quoted items require five weeks.
