Military Engineer Services Repair and Maintenance Works by GE (N) Eastern Garrison

GE (Navy) Eastern Garrison invites applications for pre-qualification of contractors and firms to undertake 75 distinct repair, maintenance and provision works across multiple naval installations in Karachi and surrounding areas. The tender reference is No.6001/12-IE-6 dated 15 July 2026, covering an extensive scope of military engineer services including structural repairs, electrical installations, plumbing, painting, furniture refurbishment and civil works at various facilities such as PNS Qasim, PNS Iqbal, HQCC, COMCOAST, LSS Nathiagali and other defence establishments in Punjab and Karachi. The works encompass floor tile replacement, wall grill repairs, weather shielding, camouflage painting, water tank installations, sewerage line upgrades, concrete base work and furnishing requirements for mess halls and office spaces, with individual projects ranging in scope and complexity.

Contractors must be pre-qualified and registered with the Military Engineer Services or obtain experience certification from government departments. Eligible firms should possess valid Enlistment Letters, Registration Certificates from Pakistan Engineering Council, bank statements, GST registration, and NTN certificates. Contractors not on the MES approved list must deposit earnest money equal to 2 percent of estimated cost as FDR in the name of GE (N) Eastern Garrison. All applicants must provide proof of financial standing, details of staff employed, comprehensive tools and plants inventory, and documented experience of similar works completed within the preceding two years, certified by Class-I Gazetted Officers.

Tender documents will be issued to pre-qualified contractors on 30 July 2026 after submission of sealed bids containing rates and amounts. Bids must reach the Accepting Officer at GE (N) Eastern Garrison, 02 Fowler Lines, Karachi-04 by 03 August 2026 at 1130 hours and shall be opened at 1200 hours the same day.
