The tender covers two main lots: Lot 1 comprises 70,000 kilograms of ACSR Lynx Conductor Scrap in pieces stored at C-Type Store OKLP, and Lot 2 comprises 8,010 unserviceable disc insulators distributed across multiple 132KV grid stations including Pattoki, Baseerpur, Ellahabad, Depalpur, and Hujra Shahmuqeem. Each bid must be accompanied by a fixed bid security in an acceptable form as specified in the bidding document: PKR 700,000 for Lot 1 and PKR 80,000 for Lot 2. Bid Security must be submitted in original form to the office of Chief Engineer (MM) at LESCO Headquarters before the scheduled time of bid submission. Reserve prices are exclusive of all applicable taxes, which will be charged separately at the time of final payment as per government rules.

For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
LESCO is liquidating two distinct asset classes: 70 tonnes of ACSR conductor scrap (bulk commodity play) and 8,010 disc insulators across five grid stations (logistically fragmented).
This is a one-off disposal auction, not recurring procurement. Scale is moderate but requires bidders comfortable with as-is/where-is collection across multiple sites and handling government-standard E-PADS bidding. Tax liability post-award may impact working capital; reserve prices undisclosed.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold valid business registration with relevant authority (typically SECP for private firms, provincial regulatory body for traders). NTN registration typically required. No PEC category applies (non-construction). PPRA-2004 compliance mandatory. No sector-specific restrictions stated, but prior scrap handling experience likely competitive advantage.
