For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
LESCO is liquidating ~388 tonnes of scrap iron/tower material from two grid stations via reverse auction on E-PADS.
This is a one-off disposal, not recurring procurement. Scale is modest (material value likely PKR 5–15M range), but the fixed security requirement (PKR 1.2M) and mandatory physical inspection at two locations signal serious bidders only. Tight timeline—nearly 18 months appears generous, but bid opening is firm. Winning bidder must handle logistics and removal from live grid stations, implying operational complexity beyond simple scrap purchase.
Who can bid: Bidders must comply with PPRA 2004 rules; SECP/NTN registration typically required for corporate entities. No explicit PEC category mentioned (not construction). LESCO reserves right to blacklist non-compliant participants. Environmental Protection Act compliance mandatory. Pakistani nationals/registered firms eligible under open competitive bidding.
