For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
LESCO is liquidating four damaged 132/11KV transformers across Lahore grid stations as scrap lots.
This is a one-off disposal exercise, not recurring procurement. Scale appears small-to-medium (four individual lots); bidders can cherry-pick lots. Notable: as-is/where-is condition means inspection critical and resale value uncertain; long deadline (July 2026) suggests low urgency. Suitable for scrap dealers or transformer refurbishers with storage/logistics capacity.
Who can bid: Not explicitly stated. Typically, scrap disposal tenders accept any registered Pakistani entity (NTN/SECP registration). Bidders must comply with Environmental Protection Act requirements and avoid blacklisting. No PEC category applies (non-construction). Original bid security submission mandatory before bid closure.
