Description / Scope of Work
Lahore Electric Supply Company invites electronic bids from qualified firms and bidders for the disposal of unserviceable and scrap materials through the E-PADS (Version 2.0) platform. This tender concerns four lots of damaged, incomplete 132/11KV 10/13-MVA power transformers currently stored at LESCO facilities across Punjab, with items located at regional grid stations including Nankana Sahib, Ittehad Chemical, Attabad, and Walgon Sohail. Each lot comprises one transformer unit being disposed on an as-is-where-is basis, with bid security of PKR 300,000 required for each lot. The bidding process follows the Single Stage One Envelope procedure under Public Procurement Rules 2004 (PPRA-2004), with bidding conducted through the national E-PADS portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk.
Eligibility requirements mandate that all bidders submit original bid security in acceptable form to the office of the Chief Engineer (Materials Management) at LESCO Headquarters before the scheduled bid submission deadline. Interested bidders are permitted to inspect the scrap materials on working days during office hours at the respective storage locations. The document specifies that all bids shall be considered exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be levied separately at final payment in accordance with government regulations.
