For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

NED University seeks a turnkey 300KW solar installation (design through commissioning) for its Chemical & Petroleum Engineering Department.

At Rs 33 crore, this is a substantial institutional project with tight execution—three months post-award suggests mobilization pressure and phased milestones. The 15-day document collection window (21 July–5 Aug) before bid closing (6 Aug) is compressed; contractors must move fast on technical due diligence and past-project documentation. One-off infrastructure play, not recurring.

Who can bid: Bidders must hold valid business registration (typically SECP for companies, NTN mandatory), demonstrate prior solar installation experience with proof of similar completed projects, and possess relevant technical expertise. PEC registration not explicitly stated but typically required for design-build energy projects in Pakistan. Bid security deposit amount specified in tender documents (amount not disclosed in notice).
